Rooted in Wyoming’s Summer Education Collaborations
Each summer, Rooted in Wyoming partners with established community organizations—including the YMCA, Sheridan Recreation District, Tongue River Valley Community Center, Sheridan Memorial Hospital, Holy Name Catholic School, and the Wyoming Girls’ School—to integrate hands-on agriculture and nutrition education into existing youth programs across Sheridan County. Rooted in Wyoming does not operate its own summer camps; instead, we collaborate with trusted partners to enrich their programming through farm and garden experiences, field-based learning trips, and health-focused activities that connect the community to Wyoming’s local food systems.
If you lead a summer program and see an opportunity to incorporate meaningful, hands-on agriculture education, we would love to hear from you!
“Thank you so much for welcoming us to Rooted in Wyoming today for Entrepreneur Week! The campers and I had such a great time! It was one of the highlights of our week... The worms were an absolute hit with the kids, they’re probably still talking about them!.. It was so amazing to see what you’re doing in the community and to see the future plans at Bridges—truly inspiring work. I left feeling so encouraged by the impact Rooted is making.”
